ABOUT US

Being Good News in Waterloo and Crosby...

What we are

We aim to provide an informal, friendly atmosphere where people can discover more about following Jesus.

Where we fit in

Based in Waterloo on the outskirts of Liverpool, we are a caring friendly Baptist/URC church with strong links to local Christian outreach charity 'In Another Place' and a member of Churches Together in Waterloo. We offer relevant Sunday worship, Biblical study, and provide opportunities to pray and be prayed for; all within an environment of supportive friendship and pastoral care.

We have a collection point for the local foodbank and support the work of Christian Aid. As a Local Ecumenical Partnership (LEP) between Baptist and The United Reformed Church we take an active interest in both denominations and tap into wider activities and resources that our denominations provide.

The building is used throughout the week by different community groups. Waterloo United Free Church meet on Sunday mornings and mid-week each Tuesday for Bible study. Additional church-related meetings occur throughout the year.

Open Arts

We are developing a mission initiative Open Arts, bringing more use by the community to our fabulous building and seeking to be a place of hospitality and welcome.
