Colossians 4:2

One Friday
During April 2017 we hosted One Friday, an art exhibition with images by Jenny Hawkes portraying the events of one particular Friday - Jesus' final journey to the cross. Here are some of the comments from visitors to the exhibition:
Sitting in front of each picture after a walk around allowed time to think of my own response.
The pictures are a really powerful way of telling the Easter story up to Good Friday. I loved the style of painting.
Jenny Hawkes' reflections are inspirational and beautifully reflect the paintings, which also leave space for our own thoughts and meditation.
Beause He lives, I can face tomorrow. Thank you for time to reflect. Thank you Jesus that you are the light of the world. I thought the art work was truly inspired.

Good to see these traditional images in a new way and be challenged to follow the journey again. Thank you.
Wonderful exhibition. So much detail. I feel so uplifted. The events of Easter brought to life.
Powerful, striking picture - reflect the messages of our faith. The paintings lead to the fture of faith, hope and love following Our Lord's resurrection.
